Inna – 24 years old
A single mother with three children.

Inna is a young woman who has gone through a difficult life. Left homeless, she decided to leave an abusive relationship with a man who had drug problems and was physically abusive to her and the children.
Inna grew up in a single-parent family, her mother gave birth to her at the age of 14 and abandoned her at birth. Therefore, Inna was raised by her grandmother. However, the living conditions were so difficult that Inna set out on her own path at the age of 15, she married a man who, unfortunately, turned out to be problematic due to drugs.
Inna experienced many difficulties with her husband. Since her husband had an addiction, he not only did not provide for his family financially, but often took away the money that was intended for the children.
Inna came to our organization for help, she was looking for a shelter to escape from her husband. We took Inna, who was nine months pregnant, and her two children into the care of the Mother and Child Home. We provided them with temporary housing and safety.
Now Inna has given birth to her third child, a boy, Timofey. We strive to create conditions for her and her children for a stable, happy life.
Our goal is to help Inna gain independence and provide her children with a quality childhood. It is important to create conditions for her in which she feels loved and protected, regardless of the difficulties she has to overcome.

Nadya and her daughter Arina

Nadya is 40 years old, and she and her 10-year-old daughter Arina have gone through a difficult time. For many years, Nadya suffered from domestic violence from her husband, who not only physically attacked her, but also burned down their house in a fit of rage. These events left deep wounds both in her body and in her soul.
Arina, as a witness and victim of family conflicts, is registered with social services. At one point, she was already removed from her family and placed in an orphanage.
Despite her mother’s boundless love, the constant problems in the family had a negative impact on the girl. At the age of 10, she is significantly behind in the school curriculum, has clear signs of psychological trauma, often withdraws into herself or exhibits behavior typical of a younger age. In addition, Arina has been diagnosed with kidney problems that require medical attention.
Seeking support and hope, Nadia turned to our shelter for help, believing that this step would bring not only protection but also healing and renewal to their lives. We strive to surround them with care and love, providing the necessary assistance and resources for recovery.

Congratulations, my name is Max, I am a resident of Volnogorsk, Dnipropetrovsk region.

I grew up in a bagotoditefamily. At an early age, I lost my dad, it hurt my childish heart, and I began to hate the whole world. Therefore, I made all my further choices in life only for the destruction of my life and my neighbors.

At the age of 17, I became a drug-addicted satanist, in our city they distribute drugs even in schools. So when I got into a bad company, I started abusing it. But my troubles didn’t end there.

Already at the age of 17, I had 2 criminal records. That was the starting point for my mom. She decided to send me to a drug center. Yes, it so happened that it was then that the Miras team held a BIG DAD summer camp. And my mother was offered this particular camp.

In the camp, everything was different, different atmosphere, different people, motivation and training conversations, I got the love I was looking for from people.

I believed in myself, threw all my satanic possessions into the bonfire, and started a new life. 

Now I am an assistant, and I am happy to go to the camps to change someone else’s broken life with my Istria.

My name is Dmitry, I am the director of the charity organization ‘ Charity Foundation ‘Miras’

And in order to become more familiar with you, I will tell you a little bit about myself.

My charity work started as a child. Back then, I would sneak up on old and distraught people and put potatoes and other vegetables under their doorsteps. At that point, it was all I owned. I grew up in an ordinary family of factory workers, and therefore had nothing more. I had a desire to help in my heart, but I didn’t quite understand what or how.

During one of the summers, I was invited to a Christian camp (1996), which greatly influenced my life. In the camp and after, I saw other children’s fates change, and I really admired it. I started going there every summer. At the age of 14, I was already an assistant (volunteer) at children’s camps. And that’s when I realized that I wanted to serve children and teenagers. Having a very extensive experience of participating in children’s camps, since 2017 we have started organizing camps called ‘BIG DADDY’. Since 2017, we have officially opened a charity organization and started organizing charity events for children, teenagers, and pensioners.

Working with children, we understood that parents of children need help. Sevenpits need help. After all, the behavior of children, their choice is a reflection of relationships in the family.
