The problem of social orphanhood

Every year in Ukraine, the problem of social orphanhood and abandonment of parents from their babies is growing. Many women with children find themselves in difficult circumstances due to poverty, domestic violence, or dependence on family members.

How did the war affect the problem?

The war has left even more women with children homeless. The loss of their homes, forced displacement, and financial difficulties have left them more vulnerable than ever.
The number of cases of domestic violence has increased significantly-economic stress, psychological pressure and war injuries have led to an increase in the number of cases of aggression in families.

Our shelter is a chance for a new life

To help such mothers, the MIRAS Foundation has created the project ‘Mother and Child House’ – a shelter for women with childrenwho find themselves in a crisis situation.

In our shelter, they receive:
Timchasova temporary housing is a safe space where you can recover and find support.
❤️ Social support -help from psychologists, lawyers, and social workers.
I ‘ll help you find employment -help you learn new skills and find a job.
Child support -an opportunity for safe development of babies in a comfortable environment.

How can I help you?

To successfully implement this project, we need to:
