Psychological help for children-support that saves

Due to the full-scale war, the city of Dnipro and the entire Dnipropetrovsk region became a refuge for people who were forced to leave their homes.

Since the end of February, our region has received more than 300 thousand displaced persons, including almost 66.5 thousand children. All of them experienced a difficult escape route, loss of stability, and some-and loved ones.

Why is psychological support for children important?

Under stress, fear, and helplessness, children are unable to sleep properly, interact with their peers, or adapt to new environments. Many of them are faced with:

✅ Panic attacks and anxiety
✅ sleep and appetite disorders
✅ feelings of guilt or fear of the future
✅ feeling disconnected from home

Adults who are themselves in a state of crisis may not always be able to help children cope with these experiences. That is why the Miras Foundation team has taken on the responsibility of providing high-quality psychological support to their wards.
